4 Attention Joomla Web Designers: You Have 50 Milliseconds to Make a Good First Impression!

5 New Development Version of JSN Epic

JSNEpic3dJoomlaShine has released a new version of the high quality JSN Epic template. The new version is of particular interest to developers of multi-lingual websites that use both RTL and LTR languages. That is of course great as long as the house doesn't burn down or when no-one breaks in. So we are now making a third back up each year and place it in the safe in the bank - a five minute walk away from the other back ups.

8 DOCMAN no Longer for Free

3671The team producing DOCMAN has released the long awaited native 1.5 version. That is great, but what is not so great, is that the file repository system is no longer for free. The team charges a modest fee for the, we must say, more than excellent extension. Perhaps indeed the few EUROs are not so much for a quality product like DOCMAN. It is also not that we do not want to pay - fortunately we can and we hope many others can also. What increasingly frustrates us is, that more and more high profile developers of the most essential Joomla components are asking for "small" fees, undermining the concept of free opensource software.
